My name is Mrs. Anderson. I was raised in Bristol, SD from the age of five until I graduated and went to college. Due to the Bristol School closing after my Junior year of high school, I graduated from Groton, SD in 2005. From there, I attended Northern State University, and graduated in May of 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Education for Elementary Education. I also have an endorsement for Middle School English. I have been teaching in Bowdle, SD, since the Fall of 2009. During my first three years of teaching in Bowdle, I directed the High School Play. I had a co-director for the last two of those years. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband. We started seeing each other in the Fall of 2008, and have been married since the Summer of 2012. We have one daughter named Elizabeth Renee Anderson. She was born on October 3rd, 2015! We also have a Sheltie named Princess. We adopted her from a Humane Society while visiting my husband's parents during the Summer of 2010. We hope to start a family in the near future. One activity we enjoy doing together is participating in and teaching Taekwondo! We are both 3rd degree black belts in Taekwondo, and 3rd degree black belts in Hapkido. We help out with the Taekwondo program at Strongheart Martial Arts Academy in Aberdeen, SD. We also participate in the Kumdo program. I also teach Taekwondo here in Bowdle during the school year. I have been practicing Taekwondo since the Fall of 2006, and my husband has been in it since the Fall of 2008. My personal hobbies also include reading books, watching TV, and spending time with friends and family.
